Transportation:
Please note: You will be responsible for your transportation on the island, which means you need to take part in our car sharing system. The hostel is in Lajares, the studio about 10 km away in Corralejo. In order to be on time for workshops, jams, etc and in order to be able to enjoy the island fully – you need a car! We found a cheap car rental company: http://www.emietwagen.de . A car will be about 100€/week, and 260€ for 3 weeks (so if you share a car with 5 people it will be about € 20/ week or less). Unfortunately, we can not make exceptions concerning the car sharing system. Everyone has to be organized in the car sharing system.
This is how its works: We ALL will take our share in one car group, but we can switch around taking lifts with different people going on different times and to different places. This only works peacefully, if everyone takes his/her share in this. It is not expensive! Depending on your group maybe € 3/ day.
Airport Transportation:
Best would be if you coordinate with your car group to be picked up.
If you are the first one of your car sharing group arriving at the airport, you could be the one who picks up the car (consider beforehand who will be officially driving the car. Usually, two people will be on the rental contract marked as drivers. In order to be marked as drivers, the driving licenses need to be present when signing the contract. Drivers can also be put in later. If you want more than two drivers you have to pay around € 10/driver extra).
If this is not possible you can also take the bus.

You take the bus from the airport to Puerto de Rosario.
From here you can take number 07 PUERTO DEL ROSARIO - EL COTILLO, or number 06 PUERTO DEL ROSARIO - CORRALEJO and then number 08 CORRALEJO - EL COTILLO (the one going through Corralejo will take much longer). On both routes you have to get out in Lajares or ask the bus driver if he can let you out on the road to Albergue el Cohombrillo.
