Contact Improvisation - strength in fluidity
three classes with Joerg Hassmann and Noam Carmeli

After knowing each other for years Noam and Joerg connected deeply at the Ibiza Festiavl 2011 and were amazed about the ease they found in going together to their contact acrobatical limits. From different backgrounds they share knowledge about softness & fluidity in the moving body and the physical connection to the partner. At the same time directions and internal alignment stay very clear and readable in their understanding and practice of Contact Improvisation.

They want to use the classes to explore and share their knowledge, which may include deep joint release, center work, a sense of waves and rhythm as a base for momentum and of course basic contact skills around keeping shared weight moving.

5º CONTACT IMPROVISATION FESTIVAL in Madrid

March 30th to April 2nd, 2012

We will work together to weave a mix of technical classes, jams, discussions, improvisational scores and investigative practice to create a four day playful festival exploring contact improvisation from 3 different angles. We will share basic skills that we are still fascinated about to explore in the universe of communication through touch and keeping the common weight moving. Also advanced contacters will find deeper insights into the supposedly known. There will be different frames to dance with the whole group, including jams, practice and group scores. Live music.
